Hiya
This is my little corner on the Internet where I present my photography. I'm based in Phoenix, Arizona and have lived here for the last 15 or so years. When I started to get serious about photography I fancied myself as more of a landscape and nature photographer, but have come to enjoy doing people and portraiture much more.
Recently, I've really taken a liking to the “strobist” way of doing things. Lighting a scene is a bit of an undertaking (one that I have to admit that haven't totally grasped quite yet), but when done properly elevates a picture, and I love to see the reaction on person's face when they see just how good they can look.
What we have on this web site is a collection of my pictures over time. The blog contains images from when I was just starting out, up until now. Hopefully you can see a gradual improvement.
Additionally, there is a portfolio where I showcase my best work.
Methodology
I'm a big fan of simplicity in all aspects of my work, and I hope that is reflected on this website. Like my photography, I kept things simple with tiny bits of flair thrown in here and there. I don't do a ton of stylized post-production work. I will throw in an action when appropriate, but I do not like to endlessly clone/dodge/burn my photos.
